| KART RULES AND REGULATIONS |
|---|
All engine rules are IKF rules by class. Alcohol will be used in all classes. Mufflers will be required in all classes per 2005 IKF rules. All restricted animals will use WKA restrictor plates. • Rookie class is designed for drivers who are in their first or second year of racing. This is a non-points class. Drivers who win 3 feature events in the Rookie class will be asked to move up to Jr.1. Gas engines may race in alcohol Rookie class, and will be scored with alcohol class. • Fuel Pump Around Procedure. BRKP/WFKA has implemented a fuel pump around station to insure all racers that illegal fuel will not be used at our facility. The system will operate as follows. • Racers will use their own fuel for practice sessions. • Kart fuel tanks must be completely empty before coming to pump station for qualifying and feature events. • All karts will need to bring 1 gallon of clean alcohol to pump station before qualifying, and will be instructed on needed fuel for pump station before features. • All kart fuel tanks must be inspected at pump station before fueling will begin. • Fuel pump station official will manage this procedure. Will also instruct racers on procedure. Brake rotor guards or Wolf Plates are mandatory in all classes. You will not pass safety tech without one. If you would like more information on Wolf Plates see the Safety Official. TIRE RULES - BRKA/WFKA – will allow any IKF approved spec. tires and rims. NO HOT PITS – karts must be shut off immediately after driving off the scale. Pit passes must be purchased and worn by everyone in the pits before and during the race. Racers will be responsible for the conduct of themselves, their crew and pit guests. |
